The rugged coastline provides ample scope for walking and taking in the natural beauty of the area.

Close by is the magnificent Coastal Trail with many opportunities to watch the wildlife. Or just enjoy the harbour (pictured above) which still hosts one of the few remaining shipbuilding and repair centres in North-East Scotland.

Golfers are in their element in this area with a multitude of courses to choose from – a total of 70 in Aberdeen and the Grampian Highlands.
